Memory loss is a common issue in aging adults and causes can range from normal aging to dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD). 

Although there is no cure for AD, there are benefits to early detection including early initiation of drug treatment, engagement in support services and making lifestyle changes before the disease progresses.
